APPROACH

Exercise is for everybody. Every age, size, and level of fitness.

Exercise is not one-size-fits-all. Each client is different, and each client’s needs are fluid and changing. I take this same approach for myself - some days I run, some days I do yoga, some days I lift weights, some days I walk, some days I do little bit of everything, and some days I do nothing. It’s about feeling better mentally and physically.

Over the last thirteen years, I’ve had the privilege of working with clients from all walks of life. I’ve worked with clients dealing with back pain, shoulder surgery, back surgery, knee surgery, stroke recovery, diabetes, depression, agoraphobia, and more. I’ve worked with pre- and post-natal clients, and individuals training for competitive events.

BIO

Originally from Texas, J has lived in Los Angeles for more than 20 years and considers himself a proud Angeleno. Fitness has always been an important part of his life - he started with push-ups at age 10, then progressed to organized sports. Now exercise is a daily habit; a ritual. A joyful expression. He’s exploring the mental health aspects of exercise, and the huge impact it can have on aging successfully. After witnessing the birth of his first child, and the effects on his wife through the pre- and post-natal periods, J was inspired to gain specialized education in fitness dealing with pregnancy and beyond.
